Born in Sentul Pasar,  her parents were brought in from India during British colonization to Malaya in early 1900s to build railway track. Her marriage was short lived when her husband passed away when she was just 30 years old.

Served as a part time educator in Tamil school. She now lives with her grandchildren with no surviving children.

She is happy to finally hold the approval papers but can’t wait to hold her MYKAD.
