Protection

We have been assisting stateless children to access education through paralegal assistance in legal documents application and enrolment process with the Education Department and schools. Through collaboration with Vijayaratnam Foundation in 2018, we successfully enrolled 150 stateless children in both primary and secondary. These students also received education aid to facilitate the process. Through the implementation of the next phase of the project we strive to ensure stateless and undocumented children and youth have access to public primary and secondary education, and at the same time contribute towards the attainment of SDG 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
