Because of some family problems, her mother, Anuratha d/o Marimuthu (photo) was struggling to obtain a birth certificate for her daughter.
When this matter was brought to the attention of DHRRA Malaysia, even our field workers had problem in getting the biological father’s details to be included in Mirulaleena’s birth certificate.
Backed with years of experience, we were able to assist Anuratha in the right direction. Each and every relevant document was promptly submitted to the National Registration Department (NRD).
On 27 April 2016, Mirulaleena received her green birth certificate which proves she’s a Malaysian. As a mother, Anuratha is overwhelmed because Mirulaleena now has an identity and would be able to go to school next year.
